The Department of Information Technology will strive to provide the highest quality technical service, in the most cost effective way possible. To meet this goal, the department will:

• Provide effective technical support for audio/visual, computer, multimedia, voice, video, and web based applications throughout the departments in the County.
• Promote and facilitate the effective integration of technology in to the basic mission of the County through planning, programming, training, consulting, and other support activities.
• Develop, enhance, and manage the County's enterprise networks to provide high speed, transparent, and highly functional connectivity throughout the departments.
• Facilitate the collection, storage, security, and integrity of electronic data while ensuring appropriate access.
• Provide leadership for effective strategic and tactical planning in the use of technology.
• Provide fast and reliable service, support, and access for all information systems.
