Submit a completed application to the Jackson County Human Resources Department located in the Jackson County Administration building at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida 32448.
- Applications must be submitted by the closing date.
- Applications will not be considered if received after the deadline to apply.

We accept and keep on file for a period of one year, applications for:
Jackson County Fire Rescue (Auxiliary Positions)
EMT/Firefighters; Paramedic/Firefighters
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent (GED) (provide copy of diploma/certificate)
- Certification as a Paramedic by the Department of Health (provide copy of certificate, copy of ACLS Bureau of Emergency Medical Services (EMT Certification)
- Certification in CPR and A.C.L.S. by the American Red Cross
- Must have a valid Class D Florida Driver's License
- Must have some experience beyond obtaining the required certifications for the position
- Provide copies of above mentioned certificates

Correctional Officer I
Human Resources will accept applications for officers at the Jackson County Correctional Facility:

- Must be a State of Florida certified Correctional Officer or be able to attain such certification.
- Must be at least 19 years of age, be a U.S. citizen and have no record of a felony or misdemeanor involving perjury or false statements.
- Must be drug-free and pass a vigorous background investigation.
- Possession of a valid Florida driver's license.
