Correctional Facility

The Jackson County Correctional Facility located in Marianna, Florida, was activated in 1992, and provides booking and detention services for state and local law enforcement agencies operating in Jackson County. The jail is a 320-bed facility which houses pre-trial and sentenced males and females, to include juveniles indicted and or adjudicated as adults. The jail also serves as a holding facility for USMS inmates.

The Jackson County Correctional Facility is operated by the Board of County Commissioners, and is staffed by sworn/certified correctional officers and civilian support members under the leadership of Chief of Corrections Mark C. Foreman.
